Mayflower Brewing Imperial Stout - Coming Soon

A new brew from Mayflower Brewing, it looks like they'll be coming out with an English style Imperial Stout. The label says, "Special Limited Batch January 2011," so we'd guess you can look out for this one in early 2011. Between this, the Barleywine, and Thanksgiving Ale, they've got some pretty solid big beers in their arsenal now to complement the great regular beers they put out in six-packs. We know we can't wait for this one!

Label reads:

"Imperial Stout was originally brewed in London in the 18th century for export to the court of Catherine II of Russia. more robust than tradition stouts, it was purposely crafted to avoid freezing during its journey across the Baltic Sea. Mayflower Imperial Stout is a classic version of this style, aged for over six months to create a smooth and mellow character. Taste the history."
