First off, I have to thank Jeff for this one.

I brought this with me to work on Sunday and let me tell you, I was the life of the party haha...

Berkshire, in collaboration with Dean's Beans takes their popular Drayman's Porter and adds a special coffee extract made just for them.

The final product? Phenomenal.

Pours a rich black color with an absolutely perfect mocha head. Leaves a brilliant lace all the way down to the last drop. The aroma is wonderful with just tons of fresh ground coffee beans. The mouth feel is nice and smooth and creamy and the taste is just so wonderfully balanced and bursting with coffee flavor. Everyone was just raving about it at work.

Then the sadness set in. We are all avid Flag Porter drinkers as our 'session porter' and Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter as an 'occasional'. We realized this could fit quite nicely in there, but, sadly, that's not easily feasible at this time.

Anyone who has the opportunity to try this, please indulge.

Hey Hammond, glad you liked it man! That's one of my personal favorites from them, so I definitely had to send it. I've definitely down a few pints at the bar around here before. This place Deep Ellum nearby has it on Nitro. PHENOMENAL!

I tried the Nugget Nectar and DAMN! Unfortunately haven't had much time to try many of the other ones.

Wow, I couldn't imagine that stuff on Nitro draft. Jealous.

That Nugget Nectar is just ridiculous. Every year we blow through 100 cases in two months! We get 50 cases in Feb and they're gone by March, then 50 more cases in March and they're gone by April. I've already absued my ration. As I stated elsewhere, my trials fridge has overflowed into my regular fridge so I am doing my best to work through it. I'll let you know my thoughts on everything though.
