Also, I just learned that in Japan, women give men chocolate on Valentine's Day... I like that custom better.

Good article.

Actually my last girlfriend used to get me imported dark chocolate on Valentines day. I'm a huge nut for dark chocolate. The higher the Cacao percentage the better. I normally like around 72-85%, but I can eat and enjoy the 99/100% stuff too. Call me crazy.

I hear ya. Sorry you had to miss our chocolate and beer pairing event (Drink Craft Beer, Eat Craft Chocolate)! Sounds like you would have enjoyed it. Funny enough, I was reading an article today on NYTimes.com in the Food section about chocolate, and they mentioned the 100% cacao stuff... called it basically inedible. But then, this is the same section that called double IPA's blasphemous, so who knows, haha.
