Yup, rumor mill has it that Green Flash will be coming to Massachusetts soon. Their IPA is pretty legendary, so I'm psyched to say the least! I've never tried it, but I'm game.

You will not be disappointed sir. I had no idea Mass didn't get their products. For once I feel privileged. Hahaha.
Everything I've had has been awesome from them. I've had their Extra Pale Ale, West Coast IPA (which reminds me closest to Lagunitas IPA if you've ever had that..basically what the name imples. TONS of Pac NW hops and a good bit of malt for body), Nut Brown Ale which is a pretty darned good one. Then in their 22oz bomber series, I've had the Imperial IPA, Trippel and Barleywine which were all fantastic. That's all I've been able to get from them. Not sure if they do anything else or not. If you guys don't get anything I've listed, let me know. I'll be glad to send you some.
Let us know how you guys like them.

It appears that there is, in fact, truth to this rumor! Green Flash product is in the Craft Distributors warehouse and should possibly be on shelves by this weekend. Hurray! We'll initially be getting West Coast IPA (6-packs) and Imperial IPA (bombers).

The MA distributor also has their Barleywine in stock in 22-ounce bombers. That will probably start to pop up here and there, as well. I believe, in addition to the two bombers and one six-pack mentioned already, they're also going to be carrying bombers of the Tripel and sixers of the Extra Pale Ale in the long run. Still no stock on those at the distro, however.

Good to know about the Trippel. I had the IPA last night and HOLY CRAP that's a lot of hops! I actually think it's a little messy of an IPA. Too bitter, and the hops are going every which way. But, with the number of people who like it, I'd guess I'm in the minority. Also picked up the dIPA and Barleywine, so I'll have to try those.

I thought it was quite true to the "West Coast Style" IPA personally. I do enjoy them on occasion, but I just like more balance is a session beer. The Lagunitas and Moylan's I've had are very similar in style with their huge overabundance of Pac NW variety. Just tons of floral as well as acidic/resoney/citrusy hops for taste.
