Newport Storm Canning their Amber 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 3
From the Newport Storm Newsletter:

We have officially gotten into our busy time. We will be making an unprecedented amount of beer this month as we prepare for a summer full of thirsty people. In addition to several bottling days and a full schedule of draught beer, our Hurricane Amber Ale cans have been released. As one of the few craft brewers in the country that sells its beer in cans (and one of only two or three that does both bottles and cans) we are proud to give our beach, outdoors, and boating fans an option besides the yellow fizzy stuff for their summer activities. The cans come out at the beginning of May every year and they are usually gone by the end of September. Be sure to pick some up before your next excursion and if your retailer doesn't carry them, please just ask them to get some with their next Newport Storm order.

Wow, another brewery with a canned amber! I'll have to check this out. I do love my craft beer in a can! And they've definitely done some decent stuff in the past. Worth keeping an eye out for, at least to try once.
