You enter your ZIP code and it shows you which stores/bars in your area have recently purchased the beer you're looking for from their distributor. It has a bunch of US and Imports. It'll show you 10 listings, then if you sign up for free for the site, you can up that to 30... kinda neat!

It should also be noted that the site only tracks beers carried by the various distributors represented here, meaning many beers can't be tracked through the site. There are also numerous beers from their portfolio that aren't tracked by the site at this time (most of the recent Italian offerings from the B. United import portfolio, for instance). It's a great site for what it offers, and there's plenty of useful beer information there as well, but you'll need to do some extra leg work to find a lot of beers.

Yeah, def not a catch all for everything, but a nice tool to have when it works. And, hopefully if they show more people using it, it's coverage will expand.

Well, their coverage will only expand as the distributors that are behind this site, and their product portfolios, expand. GreatBrewers.com is run by the L. Knife & Sons Company, which owns nine distributors in the states mentioned above. It is unlikely that they will ever include products carried by other distributors. Still a good site, though.
