the only imperial i had was the rogue xs imperial pale ale and it was really good, if the imperial stouts are just as good i may have to pick some up

They are quite delicious if you get a good one! If you like the big roasty character and alcohol, that is. They're not for everyone. It's just a matter of what you like.
