went to a bar called coblestones in York PA, tried 3 new beers, they had a ton of beers at least looked like 30-50 on tap
(bottle) Rogue Santas Private Reserve, loved it, had a nice mabey fruity flavor with a nice hoppy finish
(tap) Bells Two Hearted IPA, amazing beer, havent really gotten into IPAs much but loved it
(tap) Abita turbodog, i disliked this beer, tasted like cold coffee, strong toffee taste and flt tasting to me, def wasnt a fan
edit: they have 67 beers on tap http://www.cobblestonesyork.com/

Nice! You'll notice the Santa's private reserve was one of our featured winter beers here:http://drinkcraftbeer.com/editorial/articles/winter,_christmas_and_chanukah_craft_beer_recommendations.html glad you liked it!
As for two hearted ale, yeah...it's awesome and i guarantee 3 months from now you're gonna be drinking even more IPAs because of this beer. Once you get a taste for hops your pallet starts to change and get used to the bitterness.
I agree on the turbodog, it's never wowed me. All your reviews are pretty much spot on to my own opinions.

stone beers are very aggressively hopped especially on the bittering side. to make this a simple lesson I'll put it this way
There are 3 main times when hops are added to a beer. this is definitely a generalization and made more to help understand flavors
1. bittering (early in brew process) the flavor of a specific type of hops doesn't really come through pretty much just bitter
2. Flavoring: still adds bitterness but done later in the boil more of the hop flavor comes through, this is what gives different hop nots such as spiciness, pine notes, citrus flavors etc
3. Aroma very late in the boil adds...aroma...well some flavor too and given some much of taste comes from smell a lot of flavors are enhanced here.
With that said, i really enjoy beers with later hop additions. Go try Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner if you can't still find it, it's a pretty good example of a late hopped beer. These beers tend to be less bitter up front and have more hop flavor which I really enjoy

well went out and had some beer thus weekend
saturday went to rons schoolhouse grill i had a Great Divide Hibernation Ale which i enjoyed alot, and tried my friends Harpoon Winter Ale which had a very strong, cinnamon aroma and taste it was pretty good
then sunday a few hours ago i went to Victory, had 4 samples, Hop Wallop, never had before, but i really really enjoyed this one, i bought a 6 pack to bring home, i had their Abbey 6, another good beer, the festbeir which wasnt new to me but i love it, and then tried their newly released Baltic Thunder, this beer is a porter, very dard, 8.5% alcohol, but doesnt taste like a very strong beer, has a nice toffee taste to it, and is very very drinkable, i enjoyed it alot, and this comeing from someone who doesnt like porters/stouts too much!
didnt get a chance to go to slyfox, im upset, but there will be a trip in my future

Personally, the Harpoon WW... I can do without. Waaaay too much spice for me. But, it's Harpoon's best selling seasonal, so obviously you've got a lot of company.
I dig the Hop Wallop... had it on cask at Victory and DAMN! I'm jealous you got to try the Baltic Thunder. Hopefully it'll make it out here!
