I had to share this just because it's so delicious. While at Wine Gallery in Brookline, Spence (one of the guys that works there) suggested making beer floats with Rogue Chocolate Stout(like a rootbeer float but with...you guessed it...beer).

Well with a bomber on Rogue on hand and a pint of Haagen Daz vanilla ice cream. We gave it a shot. And what a succesful endeavor it was. It's awesome, the perfect beer desert, and with summer on the way a great summer day beverage.

That, and can you think of somthing better than ice cream that gives you a buzz?

sounds great but you have to be careful... ive made a newcastle float before and it was probably the worst thing ive ever tasted... gotta have the right brew for it (chocolate stout sounds about right though)
