Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager 8 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 1  
Well, I finally had my first Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager while doing yard work yesterday and it was awesome! What a great tasting beer for the Spring. Very refreshing, with just the right amount of Strawberry. Now I need to find some boiled crawfish to go with it. Any of you guys ever had this one yet?

I have not. Most of the stores I regularly go to don't even stock Abita, so I probably won't get around to trying it. Glad to hear you liked it, though!

I see. Well, this one has been out for a few years now and only comes out during Spring. It's not very sweet, just a little hint of Strawberry, which is why I really like it.

Yes, I agree Mr. Hammond.
This beer has just the right amount of Strawberry and not sweet. The smell is great!

Agreed. I love strawberries and the aroma is wonderful. Nice bready and fresh strawberries, like pastry. Mmmmm...

Hmmmm, i gen do not like fruit beer but you guys are giving it a solid review, perhaps i'll give it a shot if I see it.

I saw it at Julio's the other day in Westborough. Although couldn't get it... already had over $100 of beer in my cart, haha.
