Well it looks like A-B is going to be putting out a wheat beer called Sun Dog

It'll be interesting to see what happens with this. I'm still very torn on the big guys putting out beers like this.

Hey, it says Anheuser Busch on it. I'm fine with them putting out beers that are trying to lean towards the craft market as long as they're identified. To be honest, I don't even really care about the whole Blue Moon with Coors mentioned nowhere. Companies do it all the time with subsidiaries. Kraft and Nabisco (not to mention Miller Brewing which Philip Morris still owns a 36% stake in I believe) say nothing about their affiliation with Philip Morris, the tobacco company. If you have that strongly held of a belief that you truly do not want to support a company like Coors or AB, you have to do some research. They're complying with the law. Sometimes you have to actually work the live like you believe. These are all publicly held companies, so you can find this info out if you want.

OK, rant over.

In the end, if there's a business opportunity, they'll try to take advantage of it. If it hurts the crafts that bad, they really weren't strong enough to begin with.

yeah i'm with ya, while I can def enjoy a stout in the summer i rarely want a light wheat beer in the winter. IPAs become more of a staple for me come wither, along with porters and stouts. I love porter
