L’amour du Jour
Biére Artisanal
Inspired by a conversation (at an MFA exhibition of impressionist painting) on the representation of love via art,
L’amour du Jour was conceived as an impressionistic beer
which expresses one of the beautiful events in life,
a moment of infatuation.
This fine beer could, in the vaguest sense, be considered a
Belgian-style “Saison,” albeit one flavored not with spices and hops but with the unusual addition of flowers and other botanicals.
Lower in alcohol than typical Saisons, L’amour du Jour brings a very rare finesse to the realm of the biere de table. While lovingly crafted of the finest FrancoBelgian pale barley and wheat malts and gently hopped with Styrian Goldings, it is finished with fragrant contributions of lavender, sweet orange, and jasmine blossoms.
At once unusual and yet very drinkable,
L’amour du Jour offers a floral aroma, bright and crisp malty palate, and a balanced fruity finish with a lingering perfumed scent.
À votre santé !
