Jeff was just telling me about this the other day and I hadn't had time to post it up. I'll be interested to see exactly how it goes. I have to say for that area I do love Wine Gallery though so it'll be tough to sway me to another store

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.-Dave Barry

I'm curious to see how this goes. One of the arguments I've heard against an idea like this is that there's just not enough money to be made in retail selling beer. Dave is a smart guy (or so his success with Publick House would suggest), but I'm waiting to see how this goes. Especially, unless he works something out with the distributor, everything he can get can be bought at places such as Wine Gallery about half a mile away.
Best of luck to him, though! I'd love to see this place succeed. Especially because it's right near my house, haha.

Any idea when the Provisions is due to open? I live right on Tapan street and I too will be caught in the Wine Gallery dilemma, it used to be P-House for drafts and Wine Gallery for 22s. Who knows now?

Last I heard they're still finishing up work on the store. Just superficial stuff like lighting, painting. Shouldn't be long now.
One thing for me is Wine Gallery has a parking lot. I don't know if PHP will. I'm going to have to check it out before I make a decision. Plus, I love Wine Gallery and it's on my way home.
If PHP has some otherwise unfindable stuff, I may stop by... but I'm betting I'm going to stay loyal to Wine Gallery.
