Beer of the Month Club Review - Gourmet Monthly Clubs April

Hey everyone,

We're back with the March installment of the Gourmet Monthly Clubs beer of the month club review. This was a fun one for us. While a lot of times we love discovering new beer, the surprise this month was in rediscovery. Fisherman's brewing company is brewed about 45 minutes from us, though we really hadn't had it in a longtime. Rediscovering how good this brewery was made us start thinking about some other brands we've been neglecting in our purchases too. Well enough about that on to the beer!

Grand Teton - Old Faithful

Appearance: Light amber thin white head

Smell: Light citrus with a touch of sweetness

Taste:Light, crisp with peach like notes and biscuity malt. All the beers we got in this shipment seemed perfect for late spring and this was no exception. We've never had anything from this brewery so that alone was cool.

Beer of the Month Review - Amazing Clubs March

Hey all you craft beer drinkers! It's that time again! What time? New Beer of the Month from Amazing Clubs time! Yeah... we know, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. But the beer... The beer tastes good. So let's get to it!

This month, we've got beer from High Country Brewing Company and Farmington River Brewing Company, made by Mercury Brewing Company. High Country sends their Blowing Rock Ale and Blowing Rock Bock, while Farmington River has their Blonde Ale and Brown Ale. With that in mind, let's get to the beer!

High Country Blowing Rock Ale

Appearance: Light golden

Smell Biscuity light honey notes

Taste: This tatses more like a lager than an ale to us, but it's really nice. Light and hoppy with a light honey like finish. Really tasty beer.

Hey all you craft beer drinkers! It's that time again! What time? New Beer of the Month from Gourmet Monthly Clubs time! Yeah... we know, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. But the beer... The beer tastes good. So let's get to it!

This month, we've got beer from Harpoon Brewery and Uinta Brewing Company. Harpoon sends their Irish Red, Hibernian, and Brown Session Ale, while Uinta has their Anglers Pale Ale and East Side Dark. With that in mind, let's get to the beer!

Harpoon Brewery Hibernian

Appearance:Amber light quickly disapating head

Smell:lightly sweet, nice malt backbone, touch of sourness

Taste: This beer has a nice malt taste up front with an odd offputting copper like finish. We try an be honest with our reviews, and sadly we just don't really care for this beer. The good news is we got some other stuff we are excited about so read on.
